INSURED SHIPPING TO YOUR DOORSTEP
For those who prefer to personally mail or distribute their invitations, we ship them directly to you. Tracking is included, and optional insurance is available to protect your order during transit.
STANDARD USPS MAILING
Our standard mailing service ensures your invitations are addressed, stamped, and mailed directly from our local post office on your behalf. This does not include tracking, and delivery times depend on USPS processing.
USPS TRACKED PARCEL MAILING
This upgraded mailing option uses protective mailers and shipping labels to ensure invitations arrive in perfect condition without stamps, markings, or processing through USPS sorting machines. Invitation tracking is included.
STANDARD USPS MAILING
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE STANDARD MAILING SERVICE?
Our standard mailing service includes addressing, stuffing, sealing, stamping, and dropping your invitations at the post office on your behalf. We ensure that all invitations are properly prepared and meet USPS mailing requirements.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE POSTAGE?
We calculate the necessary postage based on the size, weight, and mailing class of your invitations. We apply the appropriate stamps and confirm postage and final weight of invitation with postal worker before requesting mailing them out.
DO YOU PROVIDE TRACKING FOR MAILED INVITATIONS?
No, USPS does not offer tracking for standard First-Class mail. If you prefer tracking, we recommend upgrading to our USPS Tracked Parcel Mailing service for peace of mind.
WHAT HAPPENS IF AN INVITATION GETS LOST IN THE MAIL?
Once invitations are dropped off at the post office, we are not responsible for lost or delayed mail. If mail loss is a concern, we recommend ordering 5-10% additional invitations or opting for our USPS Tracked Parcel Mailing service.
CAN YOU CONFIRM WHEN INVITATIONS ARE MAILED?
Yes! We will notify you once your invitations have been dropped off at the post office. We also share a tracking number so you can keep an eye on the shipment for any extra invitations you ordered as well as your keepsakes!
HOW LONG DOES USPS MAILING USUALLY TAKE?
Delivery times depend on USPS. From our experience, most guests will receive their invitations in 2-3 weeks, but delivery can vary based on location and postal service delays related to weather and other factors. We have also seen delivery times extend up to 4-5 weeks in some cases.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MAIL GETS RETURNED TO ME?
Returned invitations are typically due to incorrect addresses, undeliverable addresses, or guest relocation. If invitations are returned, it is the client’s responsibility to retrieve and resend them. Priscilla Basilio Design Studio is not responsible for re-mailing or covering additional postage costs.

WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF THIS OPTION?
A few of our clients prefer to see the final product assembled and ready to mail before they go out. Another benefit is that most invitations will be delivered more quickly if the majority of your guests live near you, and since the invitations don't travel as far through the postal system, there is also less risk of scuffing or damage in transit.
WHAT SHIPPING OPTIONS DO I HAVE?
We use UPS for all shipments and require a $35 insurance fee + shipping costs to ensure your package is protected in transit. We share a tracking link for your package so you can check on progress from the moment it leaves our studio.
WHEN WILL YOU SHIP THE PACKAGE AND HOW LONG UNTIL I RECEIVE IT?
We ship your package on the mail date specified in your project timeline. From our experience, UPS is pretty consistent in delivering within 3-7 business days. If you want to request a faster shipping time, just let us know and the cost will be added to your invoice.
CAN I REQUEST A SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY?
Yes! If you prefer added security, we can request a signature upon delivery. Let us know if you’d like this option before we ship your order.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes! International shipping rates and timelines vary depending on the destination and carrier. Customs processing may add additional time. If this is the right option for you, let us know and we'll share updated costs for international shipping.

USPS TRACKED PARCEL MAILING
WHAT IS TRACKED PARCEL MAILING?
For clients concerned about USPS delivery issues, we offer a mailing option using shipping labels and protective mailers. Your invitations will be carefully packaged in thick protective mailers to ensure they arrive in perfect condition without rough handling, markings/stampings, or being processed through USPS sorting machines.
HOW IS THE PROCESS DIFFERENT FROM REGULAR USPS MAILING?
Each invitation will be placed inside a larger outer mailing envelope in the same color (if available) as your invitation envelopes. This outer mailer will have a shipping label on the front. We must use our return address for logistical reasons, however, we can still include the name of your choice on the return address (Example: Mr. & Mrs. Matt Smith, c/o Priscilla Basilio Design Studio).
Inside, your invitation envelopes will be unsealed (to avoid accidental rips or tears) with guest names printed on the front—but no postage stamps will be used. Once received, guests will simply discard the mailer and open the invitation envelope, which will remain clean and undamaged.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
This service costs approximately $8/suite. This includes assembly and prepping mailers for shipping, as well as status updates and complimentary re-sending if any of your invitations bounce back to us.
HOW DO I TRACK MY INVITATIONS?
We provide a status update after five days, detailing how many invitations have been delivered and how many are still in transit. Upon request, we can also share a spreadsheet with tracking details and recipient addresses.
WHEN WILL MY INVITATIONS BE DELIVERED?
From our experience, this process has a 95% delivery rate within 5 days, so your guests should receive their invitations very quickly.
