I believe that your wedding invitations are so much more than “just paper”—they’re a chance to tell your love story and hint at the experience that awaits your guests. And of course, they’re also a keepsake that you’ll return to for decades to come.
On this blog, I take you behind the scenes in my studio to explain the custom stationery process and show you hand-painted invitation suites I’ve created for couples like you.

Boy oh boy, do I have a treat for you today. We talked with Stephanie of Stephanie King Events. Stephanie is a New England wedding planner with an impeccable eye for style, an insane dedication to her clients, and some crazy-good planning skills! Let’s get to our interview!
Stephanie King Events is a luxury boutique wedding planning firm. We specialize in private estate weddings, and modern ballroom weddings all throughout the East Coast.
Our typical client is the chic couple that wants a thoughtful, elegant, fashion-forward wedding. We create meaningful and genuine connections with all of our couples. In the end, you will be family to us and we will be family to you.

At SKE our planning philosophy is that a wedding planner should be your go-to partner and liaison in the planning process from day 1. We believe that in order to get exactly what you’re expecting for your day, the experts need to be there to guide you from day 1. Our job is to execute not only in the vendor onboarding phase, but also in the design process, coordinating phase, and of course the big day!
We specialize in full service wedding planning. Think your all-inclusive package.
SKE is based in Massachuetts but we have clients and weddings all over!

We would do anything that’s the right fit for us and our client.
No. I think it’s very respected and common knowledge how hard wedding planners work. However, not all work equally as hard. The wedding industry is a bit over-saturated with planners. It’s important to understand this and know that not all are equals. This is why we have a signature style, client, and process. We only take on an intimate amount of clients to provide top-class service.

Right after you get engaged. Venue shopping is way easier with a planner who has experience and can make the shopping process the most efficient. We typically find a match for our clients after one or two options.
This is all up to the planner-client relationship. Me and my couples are constantly talking, sending DMs, emails, voice memos, texts! I look at my couples more as friends/family so it’s a very fluid process with SKE.
100%! It’s a very important factor in planning. Matching personalities, wants, and styles to the best vendor that suits our couple.
This goes for the couple and wedding vendors 😉
In a world where we see so many trends, I hope 2024 consists of pushing the bounds and just being truly yourself, not paying attention to trends, and just simply doing you.
What I know we will see from SKE is:

Oh, where do I start?! Top 3 things:
Each wedding I’ve planned is unique. It represents the couple which is a one of one! I don’t do ordinary well.

Yessss love our furry friends!
